6 months

Hello 6 months, and hello moving everywhere! This girl is officially on the move! Sisi is such a sweet little thing. She is starting to remind me more and more of Brecken as a baby as she is now all over the place crawling under tables and attempting to pull herself up on stuff. At her 6 month appointment she was 24 inches and 16.3 pounds fitting in half 3- 6 month clothes and half 6- 9 month clothes.

Learning to do: She has learned to crawl and she is getting faster! She is even starting to want to pull herself up and trying to stand - that is only a matter of time too. Her third tooth (on top) is starting to poke through so everything is going into her month. That is probably why she isn't sleeping very good lately, waking up one or many times a night. It could also be from transitioning her into her crib (I waited a long time to move her from my room, I know!). Brecken and Sienna took their first bath together the other day and they had an absolute blast. She loves taking baths, especially with him. She is starting to babble and she makes some hilarious facial expressions.

Loves: Being on the move, chewing on everything, splashing in the bath tub, being entertained by her big brother, and wearing headbands ;)

Dislikes: She is starting to not like to be contained. She wants freedom to move so putting her in the exersaucer or walker doesn't last long.

Eating: She loves puffs and we are working on trying new baby foods. She has tried oatmeal, green beans, peas,  sweet potatoes, and apples. Apples for sure have been her favorite. She seems to eat it pretty good but manages to spit some on to me.

Florida

About a month ago, we went down to Florida for a few days with some of my husband's family. It was a fun time of enjoying the amazing sun and warm weather that we greatly missed this awful winter. We got to do alot of fun things while we were there including going to the zoo (where Brecken got to feed a giraffe), a car museum, the beach, boating, swimming and going out to eat. Sienna got to meet her Florida great-grandparents for the first time while she was down there. Flying with two kids was not as bad as I thought and they both did great! Here are some fun photos of our trip:

Sienna's Room: Letters

I really wanted to have Sienna's name over her crib. I got some inspiration of what I wanted when I saw a picture of letters with rhinestones on Pinterest. I couldn't find letters I liked at the craft store so I found some from this Etsy Store. I painted them white and bought some itty bitty rhinestones from Hobby Lobby.

The rhinestones came in long strips which worked great for the straight parts of the letters. I had to clip the strips apart to go around the curves.

I will try to get a better picture for the final reveal, but here are the letters in her room. They are subtle, yet they really add an extra bit of sparkle.
