In honor of Brecken's first birthday, we took him to a small, local zoo the day before he turned one. The zoo is pretty small but it was perfect for a young toddler's attention span. Because it was a very hot afternoon, alot of the animals were snoozing and chilling out in the shade, so some were hard to see. All the animals at the zoo are Minnesota animals, including birds, otters, foxes, farm animals and the favorite of the day: the black bear. I think Brecken had fun on his first trip to the zoo!
